It would be much appreciated if you can put away any personal items and clutter so we may optimize our time and your money to thoroughly clean instead of spending too much time picking things up.

Your home will be cleaned by a team of two cleaning professionals, and at times three if we have a business need to justify a 3rd team member.

This is your option. Most people prefer not to be home when we clean. You may give us a key to be safely stored–cleaners are given the keys for each house cleaning appointment before they leave the office each day, and must turn these back at the end of each evening. These keys are returned to the safe until your next house cleaning service visit.
Shine Bright Martha’s vineyard Cleaning Services ordinarily guarantees a specific day for your house cleaning but not a particular time. This is due to our flexible and ever-changing schedule, and we are unable to commit to a specific time of day for our maids to arrive. However, if you contact us on the day of your cleaning service, we will be glad to estimate the time our maids will come. If you need a specific time guarantee, feel free to discuss this with the manager, within reason, we will do our best to reach a mutually agreeable solution.
Please call us the day before and let us know. That way, we can reschedule and fill in the gap with another client.
Check, credit cards or cash is acceptable means of payment. Payment is always due at time of service unless you have made different payment arrangements with the manager.
If you do not intend to be at home at the time of your cleaning visit you may choose to either leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter the morning of your house cleaning.

We provide all house cleaning products and equipment, so you never need to worry about replenishing your supply for our cleaners. If you have particular house cleaning products that you want our team members to use, please be sure to discuss this with our manager in advance, so that we can accurately instruct the cleaners.

Please note that every home is different. There are several factors we base our prices on like the size of the house, time, pets, children, distance and condition of the home. There is also a difference in pricing depending on how often we clean your home. For instance, a weekly cleaning will cost less than a monthly cleaning because houses tend to get dirtier after a more extended period has elapsed. We recommend cleaning your home at least twice a month and possibly weekly depending on the complexity of your home.

Shine Bright Martha’s Vineyard Cleaning Services is fully insured. We take extreme precautions to ensure that objects do not get broken. However, accidents do sometimes happen. We will always care for and respect your home and possessions, but in the unlikely event that something becomes damaged or destroyed as a result of our cleaning, we will make every effort to repair or, if necessary, replace the item. We will inform you of what has happened as soon as possible. When appropriate, insurance claims will be filed.
All housekeepers must have cleaning experience before being sent out in the field. Also, each house cleaner goes through a thorough background check. After a person is hired, they are personally trained by the owner of Shine Bright Martha’s Vineyard Cleaning Services to ensure that they are competent, courteous and trustworthy and friendly.
